High Radon Levels - Home Not Livable?

This client had a rough feeling about their home, feeling like something is wrong. They checked the internet for answers and they saw that radon exposure is a factor for unhealthy indoor air that could cause cancer. Being paranoid, they decided to get a radon test and they got levels of 77 pCi/L. That's really, really high! Alarmed and worried, the couple decided to mitigate immediately. They called for a free estimate with us and discussed everything -- booked and paid in full the same day. They were really happy about our service and would recommend us to friends and family!

Radon Remediation in Runnells, Iowa

This is a 2-point extraction system due to radon levels being at 22. They will be coming out of the utility room and out the back side of the house.  We discussed everything to the homeowners from the ideal system to the installation process. The main reason why they got a system is due to his wife having lung issues and respiratory concerns.

Selling Home Needed Radon Mitigation in Mitchellville, Iowa

This home is managed by Dan - he doesn't own the home but it the executor for the sale of it. His Mom passed and he is getting it ready for the market. He definitely knows his pointers how to make a home saleable and having a radon mitigation in it would definitely increase the value. We were able to draft a simple 1-point system and there was already a dedicated space for the system. He emphasized about aesthetics, and we made sure everything was installed right to his demands. Happy customer indeed!

Radon Mitigation and How it Helped

This was an old farmhouse, with its quirky layout and had elevated radon levels from 20–30, needed serious attention. The client did say they were tight on funds, the team devised a 4-point system within their budget -- for the fan setup, perfect for the short basement runs. Three points connect in a straight line, while a T-joint routes the fourth. The chambers are easy to spot— on the dog wash station, sump pump, HVAC, and the raised slab at the stair landing. Given their show dogs health protection, the homeowner insisted on a radon fan housing cover to keep curious noses away. The fan will discreetly exit at the back of the house, ensuring functionality and safety for their prized pups.

Simple Radon Installation in Milo, Iowa

This project should be a super simple 1-point system out of the sump pit. Homeowner purchases home a couple years ago and is in the middle of finishing the basement and wanted to have a mitigation system in place prior to any other finishing. Health concern was the priority. I took a photo of the side of the house where we are needing to exit, and homeowner agreed that this would be the best place as it is also away from their patio that looks out over the pond. Installation went well!
