The technician made a work around for this home as the crawlspace was really tight and the homeowner wanted a single point system. Gladly, there was a sump basin to start with into the soffit. This was discussed with the client and there was a need of drilling an additional hole for the system to fit, client wasn't happy about it but didn't have much of a choice as the draft discussed was not possible due to the truss being there in the attic. The situation was settled, and the client was happy on how it turned out!

This installation was for a young couple that bought their first home. The amazing thing about their story is they had it tested for radon first before moving in. The results turned in 5.5 pCi/L and the home was just built early this year. They wanted the system to be installed in the basement since it's still in the process of finishing. It was not that hard and everything went well!

When is Radon Mitigation Necessary?

Our client had this booked ahead of time but he was rushed to the hospital under critical condition. On these circumstances, the team tries their best to make sure everything is convenient to the client and won't add stress to the situation.

The client called us when he got home and wanted to get something going. He wants the system to be exiting the house out of the small electrical closet in the corner. Either that or pulling from the sump due to tiling lines. He specifically requested a Breathe EZ for layered health. As a heads up, the client really liked the sound of the Sedona but wasn't ready to pull the trigger do to total project cost. He will definitely contact us back once he is ready!

Discovering high radon levels in their home after a test, this family acted swiftly. Installing a mitigation system not only lowered radon levels significantly but also made them advocates for radon awareness in the neighborhood. This will be a 2-point system one of which is running from the sump in the utility room. A line that needs to be run to the other side of the utility room and through the joists on the right hand side. Rusty - Team Leader did let the homeowner know that worst case scenario we might need to cut through the drywall in order to fasten the pipe. The homeowner said that it would be fine as he had a drywall coming to finish part of his house in a few weeks. This client was really fun to work with, he was really flexible and understood what's best for his home even if it comes with additional extractions to install his system.
