This was a 2-point system that will be run from the sump in the addition. The homeowner does have another sump that is sealed up very well in the center of the basement. There was a 6-in gap around the corners and edges of the addition that will need to be spray foamed as they are exposed soil. The homeowner was needing to talk to her son first before finalizing everything even though she was very confident in her decision. She also said that she needed to talk to him about possibly about duct cleaning addition and her son agreed for the sake of health. Everything went well and so as the duct cleaning service!

Radon Mitigation Piping Done Right!
This was a challenging project as the homeowner was very concerned about the placement of piping and trapping in current electrical and plumbing. For the sounds of things, he wanted to be hands-on during the installation process. We made sure it will be done to his satisfaction. Homeowner was supposed to pull some of the shelving away from the wall in order to allow us to run pipe and work in the area. We drafted and explained everything to him firsthand before starting - he agreed, and everything worked out fine. He really took the day off to give time for this!

This project was simple as a pimple. It was an average home with a decent space in the crawlspace. The design was literally up and out from sump. The clients were nice to also bring us a cup of tea while doing the installation. Very accommodating couple. Client is happy with the work done.

This home had radon levels of 6.8 and a mostly-finished basement. The client was being proactive and vocal in the event of the house being sold in the future so a radon mitigation is one of his priorities to have done. They already have an ERV/HRV and electronic air filter. The sump pit with interior drain tile on front wall of house. They were a nice couple with two friendly dogs. I guess one will nip at your pants but they kept them leashed most the time I was there! Haha!

Custom Radon Mitigation for Older Homes with Limited Crawlspace Access
After years of home additions and changes, a couple decided it was time to address radon concerns and improve comfort where they sleep. Access to parts of the basement was limited, but a plan was crafted to make the most of the available entry points. A radon extraction point was installed through a storm door addition, and a second point was cored through a basement wall to reach a crawlspace beneath the master bedroom. Extra insulation was added to the rim joists in this area, helping to create a warmer, healthier environment where they spent much of their time. Despite the home’s complex layout and hidden crawlspaces, the custom mitigation solution provided peace of mind and noticeable improvements in air quality.
