We did recommend a radon test for assurance but the clients decide to mitigate without having second thoughts. Radon Mitigation - Charles City, IA
The property, initially a flip, is undergoing extensive renovations. During the inspection, the team uncovered three visible chambers and a sunroom with a complex foundation. There's uncertainty about what lies beneath, and anticipated coring horizontally into the sunroom. The homeowner, a first-time flipper, displayed eagerness to actively participate in the installation process. Despite some indecision about the PVC routing in the basement, he plans to be present during the install. Considering duct cleaning for both properties, he decided to prioritize his residence once the current project expenses ease for health purposes. Despite the challenges, the homeowner's cooperative and forward-thinking approach made the process smooth. He's a good one!

High Radon Levels in Prairie City, Iowa
This is a 2-point system due to the basement being separated in half. Homeowner was looking to take care of multiple aspects as they are first time homeowners and understood that there is a lot that needed to be done in the basement. They recently had three inches of water in the basement due to their sump not keeping up. There is also talk that they will need to waterproof their basement within the next two to three years which they are budgeting for. It was extremely humid and extremely damp while the team was there which is part of the reason why they need the Sedona added. Their son also has extreme allergies which is part of the reason why they wanted to take care of the duct cleaning and knowing that this is actually been taken care of. She was very interested in the Breathe EZ filter but also trying not to overspend for the meantime. They wanted to take care of the larger items before doing any additional accessories but still looking in the budget. The team gave them all the best options to cater and protect the home -- even offered a payment plan. Clients were happy with radon mitigation and duct cleaning! Very satisfied.
