The client initially told us after she got her free estimate that she was terribly busy and didn't have time for a long sales pitch before the appointment. The team spent a couple hours with her, and she was very deep down. There are now people living in the basement and she was concerned with air quality and radon. She teaches college science and works in water treatment. She also cares for two large huskies. She had a crowded basement with an unfinished storage room. There are storage shelves next to sump pit with exterior drain tiles. As per the plan, one will be moved, the other has been built in but they will remove items from the shelf. This was an interesting layout on the home and ultimately came to a conclusion with the homeowner based on layout of the home that the guest bedroom would be the best extraction point. This was a starter home for both Joe and his wife so they weren't all that concerned about aesthetics as they were thinking about selling their home within the year because there was a job opportunity for the wife in Texas. Needless to say, they also wanted their home appraised if that time comes.
